    Job Purpose:
    1.    Assist in the coordination and preparation of communications output
    2.    Create and deliver newsletters and other publications as well as offers support for all primary and administrative duties of the department

    High achiever with evidence of continuous leadership roles and academic prowess
    Goal directed with excellent negotiating skills and high comfort levels in rapid and early closure

    Areas of Responsibility
    1.    Marketing and Corporate Communications Operations

    • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
    • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns
    • Design and launch marketing campaigns
    • Assist in monitoring active marketing programs and developing ways to improve those campaigns
    • Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic
    • Work with advertisers for timely and useable ad submissions
    • Edit, proofread and revise company communications
    • Create company literature and other forms of communication
    • Recommend, Implement and maintain site design and operation
    • Oversee and ensure brand compliant designs
    • Create and deliver media relations content, corporate newsletter content, social media content and marketing proposals
    • Produce approved content for placement in newsletters, website, Media pages/handles and webinars
    • Ensure Materials follow regulations with management
    • Submit ideas for marketing programs designed to enhance and grow the company’s brand

    2.    Key Performance Indicators

    • Timely preparation of monthly marketing plan and schedule
    • Timely update of company website, blog and all media platforms
    • Effectiveness of Marketing Efforts
    • Cost Effectiveness of marketing and communications efforts
    • Timeliness of request processing
    • Timeliness of publishing rates on all media platforms
    • Accuracy of Published rates
    • Adherence to agreed reporting schedule
    • Completeness and accuracy of report
    • Financial KPIs – Financial target schedule as updated from time to time

    Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
    ESSENTIAL

    • BSc in relevant field
    • Proven experience in Brand Management or Corporate Communications
    • Strong creative outlook
    • Confident and dynamic personality
    • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
    • Attention to detail
    • A high degree of organization
    • Capacity to work independently
    • In-depth understanding of the organization’s business
    • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques
    • In-depth knowledge, understanding and use of social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc.)
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to creatively communicate company brand, product and services
    • Superior computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, marketing technology applications such as web analytics, Google AdWords and other relevant software tools
    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    Qualifications and membership in relevant professional body
