Vestas Eastern Europe (part of Vestas North Central Europe) is a Sales Business Unit covering Russia. We are responsible for the Sales, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout the country. The Service Manager (f/m) is responsible for the Service delivery in the Region. He / She maintains an Organisation that is fit to meet customer demands and contracted scope of Services in a highly efficient, safe, compliant way while delivering on the internal KPI’s and PPI’s as well as on committed budgets.
The Service Manager (f/m) is in charge of employees and organisational development, advancing our work methods and safety and quality culture. He/she further supports the Service Director in providing counselling about tendencies, risks, recommendations based on daily business and KPI development


  • Leading all people leaders and direct reports in the country. This comprises both the site planning support and the field staff as well as Recruiting and developing employees to obtain an excellent team performance
  • P&L responsibility for the Region, especially in regard to the direct cost development in the contract portfolio
  • Execution of regional Projects and managing of local cost out projects to maximize the efficiency of the operation
  • Responsible for flawless and compliant process setups and adherence in the local Service Organisation, including maintaining safety and quality standards
  • Alignment on Technology, Technical Support, Supply chain and Procurement for the Service needs to reach the objectives
  • Claim Management and Issue resolution with customers on escalated topics; regular customer meetings; Contract lifetime management and renewal support
  • Translation of the Vestas Service Strategy into fitting local initiatives
  • Maintaining international cooperation within the Vestas network


  • Technical university degree
  • Minimum of 10 years professional track record
  • Operative for at least four years in a Service leadership position
  • Extremely solid commercial skills
  • Proven performance as leader of teams for minimum three years
  • Very experienced in SAP and MS Office
  • Very good knowledge in English
