How to update Apple Watch
When you’re wondering how to update your Apple Watch , the first thing you need to do is update your iPhone to the latest iOS version available . Take the melaphone, unlock it and go to the section
Settings> General> Software update class=””>. Wait for verification and if there is an update for iOS 11 or later, download and install it . Until then, use the magnetic cable to charge your Apple Watch and make sure it’s more than 50% charged .
After updating your iPhone, connect your phone to WiFi . You cannot use a 3G, 4G, or 5G mobile network to update your Apple Watch. Once connected to your wireless network, grab your Apple Watch and make sure your devices (Apple Watch and iPhone) are close by. As of this writing, updating your Apple Watch is not possible without an iPhone .
At this point, you can proceed to update your Apple Watch . Take the iPhone , open the app Watch, click General (Common) and select Software the Update (Update Software ). Wait for the update check to complete . After that, you will be shown the new version of WatchOS with a changelog. Click Download & Install , enter the iPhone security code , accept the update terms, and click Continue on Apple Watch . Enter the Apple Watch security code when prompted .
This will allow you to update your Apple Watch to the latest version of WatchOS. Please do not restart your iPhone or Apple Watch while installing the firmware. After the update is complete, Apple Watch will automatically restart. Read this Apple support page for more information .
